Flipkart is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Freight Handlers at our Hosur, Tamil Nadu location. This role is ideal for those who have recently completed their 12th-grade education and are looking to enter the workforce with a dynamic role in the Shipping, Transport, Logistics, Warehousing, and Postal Services sector. As a Freight Handler, you will be responsible for the physical loading, unloading, and/or sorting of packages by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and placing, in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities

- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, and conveyor system carts.

- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis.

- Ensure that the processing of freight is done in a timely and safe manner.

- Sort and organize freight by size, shape, and condition.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

- Follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage other associates to do the same.

- Report any unsafe behaviors or hazards immediately.

- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.

Job Requirements

- Must have completed at least 8th to 12th grade education.

- Experience/Fresher, both may apply.

- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving the whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

- Ability to read and understand labels and instructions, particularly on the use and understanding of product handling and shipping documents.

- Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Must be open to flexible working hours and overtime as needed.
